Silver Fuzz is a smart, psych-roots hard rock trio from Oakland, CA that blends the Garage-centric essence of Bay Area psych with arty alt-country sensibilities and tight seventies inspired arena rock. Principal songwriter/guitarist/vocalist Anthony Pulsipher (Spidermeow, Slow Phase, Req’d)  brings a cosmic country meets blues punk DIY ethos to economical in your face rock as well as expansive psychedelic and roots inspired genre blends that reflect his childhood in East Tennessee as well as his years cutting his teeth in the late 90’s Seattle music scene. Bassist John Hansen (Screaming Bloody Marys, No Alternative, Luminous Family Trust) combines punk fury with jazz chops to give Silver Fuzz a dynamic and creatively melodic low end growl and direct ties to the storied classic age of the Bay Area punk scene. Drummer Ricardo Ortiz-Mayan (Bohemia, Clandestino 10-4, Yolocamba Ita) started his music career at age 15 in San Salvador El Salvador. Equal parts John Bonham and Steve Gadd, Ortiz-Mayan brings the swing to the hammer of rock at the heart of Silver Fuzz.
